I thought I’d make this thread for all of us unfortunate people who got waitlisted from NYU. Does anyone happen to know about how many students they accept off of the waitlist each year?
Unrelated, but what about the other campuses/programmes of interest??

Are you guys putting a lot of effort into the writing sections of the rsvp ?

Idk how this really works but I do have a good number of new awards to mention.
Does anyone know if when we submit the RSVP makes a difference? Like if we have a greater chance of being accepted if we submit it earlier?
Also does anyone know if there’s a limit on how much we can write for the interest question?
Wait listed is the worst honestly. I wish I would have gotten rejected. Now I’m going to have to pay enrollment and housing deposit for GWU or Fordham and see if I get accepted after all that. Part of me hopes to get accepted to NYU but I don’t want to keep playing this waiting game.

Does anyone’s wait list letter tell them which college they are wait listed for? I applied to Tisch (dance) so I am assuming that I am wait listed for Tisch?
@scholar1998 My daughter also applied for Tisch dance and was wait listed I’m wondering if we’ll get something separate from Tisch or if this email from NYU is it.

Does anyone know if it would make much of a difference if I switched to a different school (CAS) on the RSVP thing?
@ParksAndWrecked I’m asking to be considered for LSP on mine, because I feel like I’ll have a better chance of getting in there than CAS.

Did anyone wait listed at Tisch actually have Tisch specified on the email or was it just from NYU? @coszette I don’t know how many were accepted into dance.
