Can someone summarize for me the housing changes? I just started reading the thread today and am a little lost! What are good signs for acceptances?
@shadyconcepts I think those of us who have DC had liberal studies program either first choice or second choice.
Those of you who do have DC application and access to the application, after clicking access application, then click “Home” next to “Required Forms”, what do you see in your classification?
I see classification: Washington DC Upperclassman
@lolafinkle , @203267422 found a link with the summary of the housing changes
http://nyulocal.com/on-campus/2014/12/12/breaking-down-college-confidential/
@mdlego I have the Washington DC application on my housing portal, but I never applied to the liberal studies program.
@scholar861 oh my bad then… I guess I was wrong.
What do you see under your classification?
@mdlego I have “Non-Renewable Undergraduate” for Spring and Fall in NYC, and I have Summer in NYC and Washington DC. Also, I can access the applications to all the semesters.
@scholar861 that link only talks about the FA change I believe
@scholar861 After you click on access application, click “home” next to “required forms”
You should be able to see your classification??
So on your common app for NYU’s alternative program question you put “No additional schools, colleges, or programs of interest” right? That’s interesting bc previously i also assumed the DC thing was only for people who had second choice programs/campuses.
access summer in Washington too ( classification: Washington DC Upperclassman
Can someone @ me the link for NYU housing changes … Can’t seem to find them!
@lolafinkle OH OOPS sorry! I thought they included the housing changes too, but overall, from my knowledge, if it says “freshman” for the fall semester only and not for spring and summer, it means u most likely got in. However, if it says freshman for all three semesters, you most likely got rejected.
@Daaxin it’s interesting that only for D.C., classification doesn’t say nonrenewable undergraduate, but rather Washington DC Upperclassman
@mdlego Oh sorry! I misunderstood you. It says “Non-Renewable Undergraduate” for my classification.
@jenmejli No, I put CAS as my first choice and Tandon as my second choice.
@mdlego oh yeah for DC, it says “Washington DC Upperclassmen”
@scholar861 Haha no problem!! It happens!
Mine says nonrenewable undergraduate for my classification if I go to home from Spring, Summer, or Fall.
But when I access Summer in Washington D.C. application, and then go to home, it says Washington DC Upperclassman.
Are you sure you are accessing “home” page with Summer in Washington D.C. application?
Never mind disregard the post haha
@mdlego probably it’s for the LSP students i think. I did apply it in second choice.
It would be interesting if it said nonrenewable undergraduate for some people under DC app
@mdlego I have the same thing as you for all the things you mentioned. And for DC, I am classified as a upperclassmen.
