******NYU Class of 2020 RD Discussion******

@ys202040 That’s the Financial Aid Change which is a good indication!

@Ajdhfh It’s definitely too late to indicate interest as almost all of the decisions are made at this point, and even if you did, NYU doesn’t put much weight on interest. If you were on the verge and they were trying to decide whether to accept, waitlist, or deny you, you would’ve received a request for more information earlier.

@jjuar16 If you go to Albert -> Applicants -> Application Status, you can see what they have received. It also can show what program you’re currently being considered for (i.e., if you put CAS as your first choice and LS Core as your second and your Albert showed LS Core, you can assume you were rejected from CAS and are being considered for LS Core).

@AnxiousApplicant1 Last year, having only the Fall option was correlated with being accepted, while I believe having more than the Fall option was no indication. This year, however, it seems like the Housing Change keeps switching.

@sungjong hey you’re here too! lmao :slight_smile:

I’m kinda nervous. I got into BU today, but was rejected from NEU.

has anyone else received the FA change like @ys202040

I do not have that financial aid page change.

@lolafinkle I have the financial aid year change too.

@Penn1248 what are your starts and which school did you apply to? (if you don’t mind telling us)

@mayamcg I’m also nervous.

I did the opposite of you. Got accepted to NEU but flat out denied to BU. So confusing :frowning:

Where do we check this “financial aid change” and what is the change

@lolafinkle 4.6 weighted GPA (don’t know unweighted) 2160 SAT. Applied to Stern w CAS as backup

Where can we see what school we’re being considered for? For my application status under campus it only says New York City

@Penn1248 any hooks?

@lolafinkle other than a poor high school, nope.

Can everyone log into https://orgsync.com/login/new-york-university?redirect_to=%2Fbrowse_orgs%2F574 using your NetID?

if u didnt apply for financial aid, will u still get the year change?

@seeniebeenie About what you said regarding the Application Status page and the program the applicant is being being considered for, is it under ‘Albert’ -> ‘Admissions’ -> ‘Application Status’? I only have a two paragraph description at the top and ‘Campus Applied’, ‘Application Date’, and the Application Requirement checklist.

I’ve only applied to CAS and I’ve never had anything else on this page about which program I’m being considered for.
Is this a bad sign do you reckon?

@cchopeful2016 I clicked on that link and it basically made an account for me and it shows my email address as my net id @ nyu.edu??

@eebee88 Me too

@cchopeful2016 me also

@LasagneMoodAF I have the same as you. I’ve been trying to find out what they are talking about.
