Hi All:
I got into the Stern School of Business in NYU and will be staying at the Third North residence hall. I will be on the third floor. Wondering if anyone can give some feedback on how big the rooms are, etc.
Thanks!

Hey! Congrats on your acceptance! I just finished my first year at NYU where I lived in Founders (right across the street from 3N) and two of my best friends lived on the third floor of 3N in a suite. The individual rooms were kinda small I guess… nothing too special, but the common space/kitchen area was really really nice. The dorm in general is pretty loud and a very social dorm especially if you’re facing out over 3rd Ave. They have a pretty gross dining hall, but it’s nice in a pinch in the mornings or if you’re lazy at night. If you have any other questions let me know!
Hi @ezak9596 - Thank you. I have 0301 in the south tower. Is there any way to find out how big is this room? The room looks really small and no one in housing is interested to even respond. Very disappointing experience with residential services.
Hi shivaya, congrats on getting accepted to NYU! I’m a rising sophomore who lived in Founders last year and I’ve had poor experiences with residential services as well. There are floor plans for all residential halls available on the nyu website. Typically the corner rooms are the largest. Here is the link:
