@Lucas1998 I haven’t seen a single person on past NYU threads who’ve gotten a housing change but didn’t get accepted
Oh @ZainSD @SquadGoals I know that those who apply to NYU Shanghai do not see the housing change under the normal housing website. I know someone who applied ED 1 and got accepted but did not receive any housing change for NYUSH, he only received the financial aid change.
I have all my hopes on NYU. 19 days to go
Guys my status changed to freshman does that mean I got in!?

Hey guys - I really really need your help! I’ve just got into USC, and I’m a presidential honors scholarship finalist, which means if i get it, they will cover half of my tuition. however, i applied ED2 to NYU, and my family can afford it without any financial help. However, if I get the scholarship, do you guys think theres a way I could go to USC instead and be released of the ED agreement? It would alleviate my family a LOT. Thanks!!
@theniqqa23 @SquadGoals What course did you apply for? I applied for Mathematics.
@NYUDreamer1 the only way out of it is the financial situation in my opinion. Do consult others though.
@ZainSD Based no my impression, Mathematics is one of the hardest majors in NYU to apply.
@ZainSD I applied for business and finance because it’s basically been my passion since 6th grade, but NYUSH doesn’t accept you based on your major selection. I believe that you pick your major after you get accepted.
I have taken up to AP Calc BC though so I assume as a math major, in your circumstance, they’d want to see advanced math courses and AP scores.
@theniqqa23 I know. You’ll have time till the end of your sophomore year to decide. I’m fluctuating between Mathematics and Economics. @Chalamagne916 Maths is difficult on every level. B-)

Hey guys I just got the housing change and I’m super excited, but being the paranoid guy I am… I was wondering if they just changed the housing for everyone to avoid confusion. Please let me know if you have or haven’t got it changed! Thanks!
AND does anyone know what the FA change looks like, and if you don’t get any FA does, even though you applied, it not change? Mine currently says Award Access Not Available
i didnt get any housing change. this is what i basically expected 
whatever.
Most housing changes won’t show up till 1-2 weeks before the decision day, you all don’t have to stress. It’s really unusual that they are doing these changes this early.
@theniqqa23 We’ll have this discussion in Shanghai once we are accepted.
