Oh, and does the housing change apply to second choice programs, like I chose GSP?
It’s just been two cycles. Don’t worry. It’s going to continue changing till the deadline and after that.
People, stop thinking that you are rejected because you haven’t received a change at the 28th of Jan. As @adreamer22 says, they are still bunch of people who get in without receiving changes, or the changes simply come 1 day before admission. CC people only represents a limited and small sample of the whole admission process.
If you receive it, great, you may anticipate your acceptance.
If you haven’t, don’t freak out: house change can only indicates possible acceptance, but not rejection or waitlist.
When is the application deadline
I meant result day by “deadline”. We’ll know by 15th Feb. Last year they were out on the 13th.
Hello i am currently applying to NYU
I have a 3.5 GPA
Went to a trade school, maintained a 99 Average and graduated with a degree of mastery
graduated high school with around a 3.0 GPA (so like 88 or something)
Volunteered over 100 hours in hospitals, doctors offices, animal shelters, public library, and working with the mentally handicapped, performed 20 community service hours to graduate high school ( helping out my neighbor, cleaning gutters, mowing lawn etc etc),
Extracurricular: participated in a blood drive in my medical assisting class, participated in stage crew 2-3 times each year from 9-12th grade, varsity football, Phi Theta Cappa honor society member, high school band in 9th grade, participated in health knowledge bowl ( basically jeopardy but medical terminology and procedures) and placed 1st in counties and 2 in states, Certified Phlebotomist Medical assistant and EKG Tech, CPR certified and certified life guard
low sat score ( unfortunately 1400 or something) never took ACT, got a D in calculus but retaking it now
How are my chances and how hard to i have to work to apply
Ok because I was in the hospital for a month and wasn’t able to submit my application until yesterday will that hurt my acceptance?? Also can u let menknownifni stand a goood chance at getting accepted or should I apply again in the fall

@spikethecowboy forgot to tag u in my reply. Does it seem like I’ll have a good shot at acceptance
Were you worried? Your GPA is great! I have a 3.5 UW/4.1 W with a 2140 SAT. Also applied CAS Econ. So worried.
So many of you are so concerned, but in reality you truly have statistics beyond NYU’s averages. I believe the majority of you will be accepted
Hi Guys,
Did anyone who applied to Tandon receive a housing change yet?
I did! @rithunna
@dehca2016 I just hope they won’t put me to LSP… So worry about that but otherwise I’m glad my housing changed
How do u think my chances sound I posted my stats up a few comments
is your sat score 1400 out of 2400? @jrod2210
@jrod9400 Please stop clogging up this thread with your chance me posts. None of us know. If you really want a prediction, I say you won’t get in. Your stats just seem way too low and your ECs are way too generic to make up for any of that.
@jrod9400 Did you talk to the admission office regarding your late submission? I highly doubt they’ll consider you application at the first place.
@classlena
It was 1400 out of 2100 if not I can apply for sprig 2017
You mean 2400? And that’s below the average, so that hurts your chances @jrod9400
When I took it years ago it was 2100 the max
