For those who got the housing change: when was your midyear report downloaded (it’s on commonapp). I kinda anxious because mine was downloaded on January 30th and lots of people are receiving the housing change. Really hope that NYU has yet reviewed my app

last year my friend had a dream that she got an acceptance letter from NYU and that her mother told her to accept it or something, so when she woke up the next day, she thoughtlessly send an e-mail to nyu that yeeees, she accepts their offer. … XD and NYU was like duuude, we have just sent u a rejection letter @pizzaandpeonies

I don’t think mid year report really means anything or even matters…'cause for the ones who were admitted in ED I, they didn’t even need a mid year report. So mid year report might be a just a small part 'cause you still have your other scores like SAT, GPA, IB predicted scores…so maybe the housing change still means something. Maybe NYU can make a decision even without mid year report even though it requires you to send.
@shermanz deadline to send midyear report is march 1st, so yeah, i don’t think it’s required to make a decision
To change the subject…if NYU doesn’t work out for one reason or another, where will you be headed?
I’ll probably end up at UVa. Got accepted there early action.

@emilyskates well, so far no american unis yet (i didn’t apply early). I did get into some universities in London, i may end up there if America doesn’t work out.

i have an interview for Queen Mary which I can accept to go for if i want to, but it’s at the end of Feb and I will (hopefully) have to decline it if NYU works out
