As far as ED1, I believe Tisch applicants started getting the FA change 14 days before decision day. Didn’t check the housing change until the day before decision day and my kid did have a housing change (Freshman in NYC)
GUYSSS THE FA CHANGE HAS ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED TO HAVE BEEN FIXED. stop talking about it
@pizzaandpeonies who did u hear the confirmation from? I know one person has FA change and I’m freaking out
welp here we are
kker98 No one else got a change on this site, and no one else got a change from what I’ve heard of in general, so I think it’s safe to assume that the FA change is probably a random glitch that doesn’t mean anything.
@kker98 look back at old threads. not many people who in got it, and people who were rejected even got the change. multiple admissions officers have said it is not an indicator
Link me to one person who was rejected and got the change.
edit: I can’t figure out how to delete this and just realized you meant FA, not housing. Nvm.
So do we know for sure if ED 2 decisions come out on the 15th? My friends who applied Lehigh ED 2 got their results today and on the website it said mid-February.
Does anyone know how hard Steinhardt’s Media, Culture, and Communications program is? And if anyone applied to Steinhardt, did you receive the housing change?
by saying hard I meant the difficulty of the admissions process
Yes. It will come out on the day it says. I don’t think NYU has ever done it early.
I applied EDII to Tandon and received the housing change last week to Fall in New York City and below it, Brooklyn Freshman.
If the housing theory is correct, then you got into Tandon! (since Tandon is in Brooklyn) @youngaa
Right, hopefully it’s correct @RSalvatierra
@SquadGoals @dehca2016 Last year they released the decisions on midnight on the 12th, so technically the 13th.
@mang0esxx I applied for Music Business and didn’t get anything
I wish NYU had rolling admissions. That way, I could focus on everything else! :((
@RSalvatierra but rolling admissions suck too kinda because they can drag on forever
They released rejections then. And i don’t think that was intentional.
@dehca2016 It wasn’t a mistake… NYU just finished checking over each application early.
