We do have evidence that NYU doesn’t like people messing around on the application before being accepted, but I truly doubt that there is any penalty for simply clicking the green button. I did it once because I wasn’t sure what it was, and I’m sure others have as well. Going further into the application is what they have been angry about.
dude, I asked them over a month ago, even more. I didn’t call, I casually sent a message with a question. and I didn’t get a change so my message was all about why do I have an access to housing app. last year at this point almost nobody cared about it. that was not as much famous as it is this year, thus seemed weird for me. and also since I should have not been filling out this app, I had to make sure that I didn’t something seriously bad. @gcamargoandrade
obviously there is no penalty, but that is just not good for yet not accepted applicants to make such a mess with it. that is all. @InAmAp

@classlena No housing change to freshman, but my spring 2016 box has disappeared completely. Hopefully that is a good sign.

@gettingintostern Not sure if it does. But I know there are people who still have it showing both spring and fall as showing the “non-renewable”. Maybe since my Spring disappeared something good may come out of it. Not really sure.

@classlena Your negativity is causing others to worry with you. People are getting the housing change every day. There’s still plenty of time to get it, and people have gotten the housing change AFTER getting accepted, so please stop stressing so much, even if nonrenewable indicates a rejection AFTER, NOT BEFORE, decisions have been released.
Guys lets all relax. Worrying about the housing change won’t do anything. Stressing won’t change whether you’re in or not. Maybe we should talk about something else?

Literally I did nothing bad by asking a simple question; I really wanted to know what others think about it and the answer would be totally great without that worthless bitterness towards me like I am really making anybody feel stressed here. if I got accepted, I would print my acceptance letter in 37546 copies and I would just make a wallpaper in my parent’s room just of those copies hahahahahaha. I pray the universe to give me a chance to do it once in my lifetime.
