Hello!! I’m new here but I went through last threads in here and I haven’t gotten housing change yet (both say “non-renewable undergraduate”) and this FA change doesn’t work any longer so yeah. I applied EDII to Stern. Good luck for you guys!
I saw what you wrote and isn’t your ego just too high to dare to say something like that? Because nobody knows each other here and we shouldn’t say certain things out loud.
@classlena You behave weird, I don’t think that you are paranoid but definitely you should keep calm and take it easy. Smile because you will get in and everybody who truly wants to get in, he or she will. If you can, go out of here because people are full of negativity. Don’t panic and don’t make others be in panic too.
Did anybody (exactly the same as I did) put CAS and Liberal Studies Program as a second choice? I have Stern as my first and I’m worried that I may end up in LS. Applied to NYC campus. My stats are:
Housing change: NONE
Applied: Stern (ED2)
GPA 3.9UW (all possible APs taken)
SAT: 2390 (M800 W800 CR790) but superscore is 2400
decent essays + recommendations
ECs: leadership positions in all of them, all related to business and government, some related to aviation and fashion.
aditionally, I signed contracts with MiLK and FORD models and I work as a model, but I think that I don’t count it as helpful to get into Stern.
few international awards related to government (member of Young European Federalists)
applied for FA: NOPE
lol, you’re getting into Stern.

posts chance me that is essentially a bragging piece
complains about other user’s pretentious attitude
[/QUOTE]
alright
If you have those stats, why apply ED to NYU? You could clearly get into some ivy level institute.
Well, i guess @classlena seems to be a little bit stressful because she/he hasn’t received house change. Again, house change indicates highly possible acceptance but not denial.
People have reported they are accepted without house change.
House change may come or not if you are accepted
We shall discuss something more meaningful. People?
I really see no points arguing for the house change theory that has been well established in this thread, i presume.
Excuse me, but for me that isn’t bragging. I’m international applicant and I know nothing how other applications to Stern look alike. When somebody is jealous, then for him something looks like bragging. This is what my parents taught me and now I can even recall.
You all claim that this one user is negative or sth, but since those 5 minutes that I’m around, it seems like there is more nevativity in you all than in this one paranoid person. I only didn’t understand why this thread is about going after each other, instead of enjoying the last 8 days left to our decisions. That makes me sad.
@stefankobk boy why did you @ me i didn’t even say it
Honestly, I have my squad at NYU already and since I was a kid, NYU was a goal for me. Not a dream, but already stated goal and now there was a time to apply, so I did. Since I also try some experience in fashion, I think that NYC would give me some cool opportunities also to try. Why you applied to NYU? (curiosity)
Sorry for interrupting, but you seem right. I don’t find any sense in other people’s behavior towards this one person, while she/he could only be that crazy because she/he didn’t receive the change. It’s easy to be calm when you have one, but when somebody really wants to achieve something and additionaly have no any proof of getting in, would you people behave differently? What most important - there’re more interesting topics to discuss, let’s talk about other things!!
@stefankobk Alright! I was just wondering. Honestly, I applied because it was in my SAT score range, and would provide me with everything I need. I don’t have an emotional bond/attachment to the school like a lot of you guys.
Where are you from if you wouldn’t mind to tell us? Are you from U.S?
@stefankobk
No, I’m from India.
So in your country the SAT test looks the same as in U.S? I heard something really weird that in Asia, SATs are made in a way different way… weirdo
Anybody from UK?
@stefankobk I think they’re the same format and difficulty. I’ve heard that they use previous year US papers, but I’m not sure. Where are you from?
@classlena You should be happy that you’ve not received the housing change, yet. If they’ve not yet reviewed your application, then there is a chance that they may receive your Jan SAT scores on time!
I’m from the UK.
Ha, that’s strange if they really do so. I was just curious, thanks
@stefankobk You got kik or whatsapp? I’d like to chat with a random person before the results are out.
