*****NYU Early Decision 2 Class of 2020 Discussion*****

@SquadGoals how minor is it? if it’s minor - then it’s exactly that: minor! it’ll be no big deal and i doubt it’ll affect your admissions decision  don’t psych yourself out!

@renegade23 Once you are accepted to NYU the housing registration appears on the side bar a few weeks after you’re in. Also, on NYU Home, if you click on the NYU Life tab the housing registration is on the bottom of the page. Hope that helps!

@nyu1201 I have the housing registry on the NYU Life page. It is off-campus though. Does that mean anything?

@renegade23 I don’t think it means anything since I also had that before I was accepted. A different housing registration link (which should say Housing Forms) is the one that should show up. It didn’t show up for me until after I got my acceptance letter, so I don’t think you’d be able to find it now.

Anyone think we might start seeing some FA changes (if we are lucky enough) in the next week or so now that the FA deadline is about to pass?

Does anyone know whether my chance for ED2 would be hurt if my mid year report is submitted to admission after 2.15? (because of my school’s situation)

I am assuming it won’t hurt because the deadline for mid year report is March 1st. But I am not sure…

you all can access this website http://housing.nyu.edu . however, only those who will at some point have a status of freshman might assume that they are accepted.

also, from my own experience I know, that FA changes will start around during the last week of this month and later. so you should start anxiously checking your albert account no earlier than at the beginning of february, I guess. good luck, I am so nervous too.

I have a question kind of out of the topic. Lately I have realised that I forgot to submit something very important in my additional info - I mean, the story about my health problems that directly affected my bad academic performance. Guys, what do you think about this - does it actually may help me, or having such an excuse (although 100% true) is rather pointless? because the rest of my app is good, but those things that were directly affected by those problems, honestly could not have been anyhow “better”. can I hear your opinions? I am an international student, so I may not know how does American admission offices view this kind of issues…

@classlena That link doesn’t lead to anything for me.

So do we have to submit a mid-year report for admissions or is that optional? Also is our counselor supposed to do that or does NYU ask your counselor for one? I just don’t want to miss anything important
*My school does yearly grades and not by quarter or semester

Hi guys, I’m new here! So anxious about the results. All the best to everyone :x

@SquadGoals if your school only does yearly grades, i’d email nyu about that and ask.

omg nyu is in 4 weeks. I am nervous.

I even made a countdown timer

NYU takes mid year reports until March 1. Being it’s yearly reports, I would talk to admissions. Best of Luck!!!

honestly they’re going to ask for it anyway. NYU requests academic updates until graduation from high school. i saw this in one of their many pamphlets and already requested mine be sent in once it is available.

Question

Did anyone else apply for Music Business at Steinhardt for ED II??

hey
