@pussinbootz did you apply for FA? Also guys do you guys see 2017 when you click view FA status?
@Anbu1998 Yes I did apply for FA but I also had the CSS Noncustodial Profile waived. I have not had the FA change, I’m not sure if that’s related to my waiver
I just called NYU admissions and they said the decisions have all been made and are just waiting to be sent out on the 15th. @pussinbootz do you see a box for 2017 in your FA? also for housing is there a housing app for the year of 2017? Mine has nothing!!!
@Anbu1998 No I do not have a box for 2017, though I’m not putting too much weight into the FA change as I don’t think it’s as accurate of an indicator as it previously was
@pussinbootz Ok i have the same situtation…i just thought they removed it because they didn’t eve bother considering. I don’t have a housing application at all for 2017-2018 year does that mean something?
@Anbu1998 in past years the housing change has occurred at the very last minute…like earlier in the day of notification or the day before.
@harvester I know that. The issue i’m having is I don’t even have a pending housing application for the fall of 2017-2018. do you have a pending application or am i the only one experiencing this…
@Anbu1998 not sure what you mean by a pending housing application. I do not think my child has one either. The housing portal says “no applications available”.
@harvester Yeah that’s what i mean I don’t have any applications available for housing but a couple days i ago I remember seeing a couple housing applications for the winter and spring semesters…did your child apply for FA? is there a box for 2017 FA status for them?
Yikes the decisions have been made. I never got any changes. My expectations are really low

Maybe I didn’t get any changes because I apparently never filed for FA. I have low expectations too… @emmataylor04
@makhtx did you receive yesterday’s email about needing to complete the FAFSA? If so, they may just not have gotten to you yet. Keep the faith.
Guys I’m sorry but I really don’t think that these financial aid changes and housing changes means anything. NYU is running too good of a program to mess up their admissions release. We need to all just wait until the 15th to be honest.
@Anbu1998 I have a 2016 and 2017 column for my FA and both have the “Award access not available” status (I did not apply for financial aid). As for my housing portal it says “No Applications Available” with a picture of a row of houses with a yellow taxi in front of them… ¯_(ツ)_/¯ the wait continues

I just figured it out lol. Google NYU housing portal and look for the link that says housing.nyu.edu
