<p>The stats and schools that the kids with the FA Changes have reinforce my opinion that the FA change theory is true. </p>

I applied for aid and I’m a domestic student
Date: Just discovered the theory three days ago, so I checked on 2/3/14 and I had it
GPA: Weighted 102.25
SAT: 2070 / ACT: 33 / SAT 2: 730 Math I and 770 Math II
Hooks: Ranked first in my class, I have 10 NYU credits and 17 from my local community college, first in my family, lots of ECs/leadership including a job and internship, awesome recs, most challenging course load available, and ITS State Board Officer.
Decision: Accepted!!!</p>

<p>I’m confused about the FA Change theory because I am a reg. decision applicant for NYU and I looked on my albert and my FA changed already to 2015 - award not available. It seems weird because there is still a month and a half away from admission decisions coming out.</p>
<p>@flowerpetal96 As an accepted ED2 student, do NOT rely on the fa change theory, It does not mean anything any more. If you take a look at our ED II Discussion thread, tons of applicants with the FA change (both international and domestic) got rejected and we were shellshocked b/c this completely debunked the theory. So just keep calm, and good luck to you coming April 1st!</p>
<p>(The FA change theory was that people who got the FA change on Albert before Feb 14th, it was a sign they were accepted)</p>
