But as I said before, there are no accurate indicators of acceptance except your actual acceptance letter.
@mom2020dance that wasnāt on my account but on @jgj1737ās account
@CoffeeandTea22 understood. thanks dear and good luck to you. Iāll be watching this forum to see when folks begin getting results
Iāve been lurking for a while but havenāt added anything to this thread yet. Hello! I wish everyone the best of luck in getting into NYU! Iām applying to Steinhardt.
Also, something my mom said earlier was that potentially ED1 students applying to a major with a portfolio could have an advantage because most people donāt have a portfolio ready by the deadline (so thereās a smaller ED1 pool for those majors). Obviously thatās just speculation, but I felt like delivering some positive news!
So since the 15th is a Sunday, do you think they might notify earlier?
Hi. I had that status because I took a course at NYU, so it was not indicative of acceptance. I didnāt really that at first and freaked out!
@mom2020dance thank you and good luck to your daughter as well!
I simply love dancing, hence my screen name hahaha. I am apply to NYUās Nursing Program. @mom2020dance

@beachgirl2189 you sent 4 letters of rec? Your stats are solid and have a pretty good chance! Btw which state are you from? Im originally from nj but international.
Iām from DE and I only know of 2 other people applying (one who is applying to Tandon so not even really the same school)
@beachgirl2189 I hear NYU looks at unweighted GPA, is your unweighted pretty good?
Also, which test did you use as your standardized testing? Your ACT is stronger than your SAT.
Overall Iād say your stats are slightly low but your ECās/volunteer stuff are really good and make you seem like a well rounded student, plus taking AP, honors, & the university thing show that you are willing to challenge yourself academically.
Hey! I applied ED to stern as a finance major and I am pretty nervous about whether Iāll get in.

I know stern is really selective so Iām not very hopeful. I was wondering what anyone else thought my chances are?? Good luck everyone!!!
forgot to mention
made it to DECA Nationals junior year (made DECA states every other year)
and President of my schools Stock & Investment club
@cytokinesis So the story with my gpa is that for 9th and 10th it was like a 3.4 because I was in the hospital a lot battling with a really severe kidney illness (3 surgeries, constant checkups, etc). Junior year gpa was a 4.0 because I am totally better now so thatās why my cumulative gpa is kind of on the lower side and yes I submitted my ACT but sent score reports of both - in hindsight I donāt really know whyā¦
@beachgirl2189 Thatās good that you have had an upwards GPA trend and also that you have an explanation for your low cumulative GPA.
Iām new to the party, but yeah! I applied ED to Steinhardt. Iām from the central midwest (South Dakota!) and I am completely in love with NYC and NYU. I hope the best for all of you! Itās nerve wracking for sure
Welcome and good luck! @orangeowl65
How is everyone? I havenāt checked in in awhile.
