i went back and checked the tab “view to-do list” and it reads: “Below is a list of your current To Do items. Items in a Requested status need to be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid in a timely manner. Items in a Received status have been received by the Office of Financial Aid and are pending review. Please note that if you do not wish to borrow the federal loans that may have been offered to you, you can decline them by going to the ‘Accept / Decline Financial Aid’ link in Albert.” so it sounds like he is going to be accepted and they are gonna offer some sort of financial aid package? k - i dont wanna freak anyone out that you did not have the “self service” or this “to-do” message. my S applied to tisch and he had his creative portfolio reviewed like two weeks ago, so maybe the timing is different from the other schools at nyu.

@nyu2017

I have the same thing. But I am not sure if it was there since we got the Albert accounts or it changed recently. Hopefully it’s a good sign!

when i checked last week, there was no info to be viewed at all…so this is new and hopefully it means something? still, gotta wait till the 18th to know for sure…

@nyu2017… i didn’t even apply for financial aid and it says that too under my “view to do list.”
It doesn’t mean anything, guys

what does it say under your “accept/decline financial aid”? mine gives a year and says “no self-service for this aid year.” I doubt any of this means anything.

@nyu427…ok i guess we are over-analyzing or overly optimistic and trying to read into these messages! but did you have a “2014” entry for financial aid? while you did not apply, maybe they are looking at offering you a scholarship?

@student1234567

Mine still says “There is no financial aid information found.”

They didn’t have any hints last year so I doubt anything will change this year

The nyu class of 2016 thread goes through the same anxiety lmao

mine changed too… i think it just means that we applied for financial aid. i feel like it’s a bit early for it to mean anything beyond that.

How about we refrain from bragging about our SAT scores and saying that were confident that certain signs mean an acceptance. It really makes people more nervous than they need to be, especially people with only a 1830…

Mine still says: “No financial aid available” or something like that. Not gonna lie, I’m getting kind of nervous.

I didn’t apply the financial aid. As a result, I won’t have any hint about the decision at all ;( 11 days left =)

i got the no self service for this aid year, too. but, i didn’t apply for any financial aid.

ok sorry for bringing this issue up with the financial aid summary. i do not want to upset anyone or make anyone nervous…(But aren’t we all nervous anyway?) based on all these posts, there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason as to who got it changed and who didnt. was gonna call tisch financial aid and ask but figured they couldnt tell me anything anyway. so good luck to all and back to counting the days off the calendar!

Anyone else from NJ?

Okay, I seriously think you guys are way over-thinking all of this. NYU is staffed by some brilliant people-- they don’t want us to know who was accepted until the 18th, I doubt there are any ‘hints’ or ‘clues’. I know waiting is terrible (i’m nervously freaking out too) but it’s only 11 days away-- we can wait that long.

We’ve been waiting for this for four years so I believe we can handle these 11 days. just calm down~

what dorms are everyone requesting if they get in?

@ithascometothis Founders, for sure!!
