If this is a glitch, this either affecting all people who applied CAS or just Journalism major students. That’s why I wanted to know if anyone else has this change.

@tgese11 Did that person apply to LSP in their app?

@anoeltner mine says “2013 - Award access not available?” toooooo.
ahh guys I think we’re reading way too much into everything. we need to TRY and be calm (this is way easier said than done because I myself am freaking out right now) but lets just get our hopes up (or feel dejected) because something didnt or did change :S but i genuinely wish the best for us ALLL ahhhhhhhhhhhh not too long now :S

did the event status always ask for the student’s confirmation code?

I applied to CAS as econ major and my status changed to Liberal studies as well

I applied to English Lit. for CAS and I my application was changed to LSP.

@ithascometothis… i am pretty certain that this is new cos it did not have any place for a confirmation code when i last checked…or is it wishful thinking/recalling on my part? does this mean anything? or is it just like the "2014 no self service access"message, which we’re not sure if it means anything either? oh well, back to counting days off the calendar…

I applied for SCPS Hotel Management & checked the box for LSP, and mine didn’t change. I doubt it means anything, though. Probably just a glitch in Albert, like tgese11 said. (:

I applied to Tisch, and mine did not change to LSP, just so people know.

Either this is a glitch (I hope not!) or we are really being considered for LSP. Some earlier posters says that some people who had their status changed to LSP were accepted into LSP. So we’ll see in 9 days!

Oh, and for the record, I did not check the “LSP” box on my application! So it makes perfect sense that mine did not change to LSP.

I applied for Tisch as well, drama. man idk whats happening aghhhh just gotta wait. :S :S

My events page, too, now asks for a confirmation number. Don’t know what to make of this. I emailed admissions asking them about the change to LSP so I’ll report back once I get a response. Also, I know I’m getting my hopes up but it seems kind of crazy that an institution such as NYU would have such a widespread “glitch” two years in a row that affects a lot of applicants…just saying.

I’m pretty sure the confirmation code has always been there and i doubt it means anything- I also have it and i’m not CAS

@Correkid Thank-you! Let us all know what they say.

The confirmation code has always been there for me.

Lol, December is turning into a month where all of us have become suddenly very analytical and our mind starts to play around. I’m going to be so nervous till then.

Does it still say LSP for everyone?

I’ve been looking at this thread since it first began, but haven’t posted until now.
I applied to Steinhardt, and still have the “There is no financial aid information found” message, and my application status still displays my intended Steinhardt major, but I checked the box for LSP as well. I’m freaking out because it seems like EVERYONES has at least changed to something. I’ve never been this nervous in my life haha

Its okay! I know other people who also have that “no information found” thing on their financial aid page.

I’m thinking about calling the NYU admissions office tomorrow, just so all of us can stop freaking out over something that may/may not mean something.

@allisonjadee I applied to MCC in steinhardt and mine didnt change. Which major did you apply to?

@nyu427 I applied to Steinhardt for Music Business. Maybe it’s only changed for those applying to CAS?
