@allisonjadee Hi, I’m in the exactly same situation with you. I’m applying CAS and my FA page still shows that “there is no information.” Also, my application status still shows CAS instead of LSP though I did check the box. If you get response from NYU AO, can you please post their answer here? I’m freaking out here.

@ohdogg @oishib what part of tisch drama did you apply to?

I can’t sleep right now guys! I know I most likely won’t get in at all but then I remember, what if I do? What if, for once, I actually got something i deserved? I have been through so much crap and what if I went through all of that just for this moment and the opportunities that nyu will give me to propel my life? This could actually happen, to me, and to all of us. Why not? I say screw the negative thinking. Honestly I have been running through my head what I will do when I find out and honestly I love those thoughts. They’re so much better than the ones of me thinking I’m getting rejected. Who’s to say my fantasies won’t come true, just this once?
And I know there’s a great possibility that I will be rejected but that damn sure wont stop me from imagining I the opposite!!!

havent applied for aid…
no way of knowing!
this is absolutely killing!

@Idreamofscreen I know exactly how you feel. Day in and day out all I can think of is NYU. Above my desk is my transcript, letter recommendation, list of majors, bulletins from NYU, a picture from NYU Local of Washington Square Park, and a sticky note countdown to the day of the notification. I don’t know if I’ll get in or not but I must say how comforting it is to have you, and everyone else in the forum, who understand my feelings about such a tremendous event. I don’t know any of you at all, but I thank you for ameliorating the situation for me and I hope that each and every one of us can be classmates next year!!!

I applied to tisch for film and my course and major didn’t change even though I checked the lsp box.

But my financial aid now says “award access not available” even though I’m sure it used to say “no self service award available” and it used to say no information before that… Why does it keep changing?!!

Whats the first thing everyone is gonna do if they find out they’re accepted?

@nyu427 Well, first I’ll probably cry out of happiness (I’d cry either way, if I get rejected or accepted) and then I’m going to announce it on Twitter just because. After, I would go out to Todai Buffet for some sushi and seafood, and then I’ll go to Disneyland sometime after. (If I get rejected, I would do the same to cheer myself up, only I won’t announce my rejection on Twitter lol)

Just curious, has the “View/Register For Events” page changed for you guys? Has it always said, “Admissions Events” at the top, and then it says “No Events Are Scheduled” underneath? I think I’m going crazy now haha.

@HelloParis Mine said the same thing on Event page. It didn’t change at all =)

@leggggy @ohdogg I applied to Tisch Drama for Acting. What about you guys?
My audition was on the 19th. Flew 23 hours from singapore (yep. thats how long the flight is) for literally a 15minute audition. I landed on the sunday afternoon, auditioned monday morning, and flew back monday night and landed singapore wednesday morning. (with a fractured foot might i add). I’m not even going to get into how much NYU means to me because I physically don’t think I can put it in words to justify it. afjdksfjdlskj.

Sincerely hoping the best for us. We’ve all been through a lot and we deserve this dream of ours to come true.

@NYU427-- depends. If I’m at home before school, I’ll jump up and down, tell my parents & my brother, email my older sister & brother at college. Then I’ll have to go to school-- tell pretty much everyone there (they all know I’m getting my decision that day). Then come home, go out to dinner, spend all day staring at classes, dorms, stuff to do in NYC…

If I find out at school, it’ll probably be in journalism, so I’ll tell my brother & the other people in that class, my teacher, the teacher next door (he’s from NY, keeps telling me I’m ‘definitely getting in’), then go to AP Gov and tell the other 2 kids in that class… then tell everyone else at lunch. Then the rest of the day is the same. (:

Haven’t seen any stern kids in the recent pages but I’m sure there are a lot. Sneaky people.

I’m skipping school that day, probably going to the Perot Museum that just opened, with some friends in the morning. Then we’re going to come back to my house and watch movies until the email comes in. If it’s good, House Party, if it’s bad, solemn dinner together. :P

Are any of you redditors?

After decisions I’m going to start an Incoming Freshman thread on the NYU forum, regardless of my outcome: http://www./r/nyu

Mine still hasn’t changed to “no award access available” and I don’t have a 2013 column. @helloparis do you??

Admissions responded to my inquiry. They said “You are being considered for all schools and programs you indicated on your Supplement”

Does anyone have “there is no information” on the FA page besides me?

Did anyone who applied ED to cas NOT have their account changed to the Liberal Studies Program?

@Correkid my financial aid changed to the self service message yesterday for 2013.

Oh, good! So this LSP change isn’t a glitch!

I got the same message with the edition “nothing is finalized yet” so I don’t know if this a good thing or a bad one.
