Well first off…Who ever just said we shouldn’t be nervous because it’s NYU not Yale or columbia…please go check yourself. I don’t think you understand that NYU is on the rise and finally getting the accreditation that it deserves. It is considered one of the “new ivies.” and not to mention that it has one of the lowest acceptance rates of any school. (Tisch and Stern both sit at 10-11% acceptance.) The competition is just as competitive as any of the other schools.

Second- If you read the terms and conditions right, it states that one must attend NYU if they are admitted, IF the finances work out. We have just as good of a chance as the RD kids to getting financial aid. I can tell you right now, if I don’t get money for something and I get in…I wouldnt be attending with a price at $60,000 a year BEFORE books for stern and $62,000 a year for tisch. It’s just not reasonable, nor worth it.

But to settle everyone else, be confident that you’ll get in. It’s a great school, the competition is rough, but it means that you have more bragging rights The money will always work its self out.

Yes, the print says “IF FINANCES WORK OUT.” When i talked to someone at nyu they said that’s up to the family and and a financial aid counselor.

I think this wait has really allowed me to find inner peace and a certain zen. Truthfully, I think I’ve forgot that decisions come in on December 15th countless numbers of times.

Yes, I gave you an option to click them (even though the threads have always existed…) You – not I – decided to click the threads. Big distinction there…

Yes I had the option to click it or not and I choose to click it… plus I am not putting responsibility on u, I am expressing how I felt towards the stats
