<p>Hi, is anyone else having trouble logging into albert? I can log into the nyu account but once I go to albert it asks for my username and password again then some weird failure message… im worried :/</p>

I (obsessively) checked at 2:30pm when I came home from work today. D is being relatively mellow about it, but it did bother me at this point that it wasn’t checked off. She hasn’t been home before 5 pm from school for weeks, so I decided to call admissions. I was put through to a counselor and they said that it was studio art’s responsibility to check it off and I could call them directly. I explained that D had received a postcard from the art department saying that they had rec’d the CD of the portfolio. So she said I could call, but it seemed I had nothing to worry about. I told her I would leave it up to my D to call if she wanted to follow up.</p>
<p>D got home after 5, so nothing more was done. At 6:30 I checked again and it was checked off! Now she is also having problems logging in the Albert. OY.</p>
<p>Mine’s not working either… Maybe they are updating the admissions decision statuses on there…</p>
<p>Hmm… my High School Transcript box hasn’t been checked off yet, but oh well.
And looking at the past threads actually calmed me down because of all the acceptances…</p>

I’ve been contacting my regional adcom and she told me my file is complete and not to worry. How can I not worry, it’s been unchecked ever since, and still isn’t checked off yet.</p>

<p>Nothing has changed on mine. My “portfolio - theatre audition” box is STILL unchecked… Should I call them even though I received an email confirming my audition & how the box will be checked at the earliest this past Monday?? I’m worried even though the email said not to be…</p>

<p>It seems like the porfolio/ audition box will be checked off by the department reviewing it, so confirmation that it has been rec’d by the department means that it should be fine.</p>
<p>I would guess that the standardized test, high school records things are being checked off by admissions–but there is probably a lag time.</p>
<p>Cliffhanger33, probably everything is fine because I’m sure they would have advised you at this point if there was a problem. But I would probably call to confirm on Monday if you have never contacted them.</p>

<p>it’s somewhat calming seeing that i’m not the only one freaking out about decisions. i applied to steinhardt as a music business major. i guess we’ll see how everything goes. so nervous!</p>

Albert isn’t working for me either (I’m still getting the weird “Your access has been denied” pop up). besides that i’m soooo anxious! i applied to steinhardt too but for media, culture, and communications. ellisanne-- my sister is currently there and she’s a music business major and she LOVES it!</p>

<p>@cheetah25: that’s awesome to hear! i did the music business summer program there and was REALLY impressed with the program. it’s honestly what made nyu my first choice.</p>
<p>it’s been an interesting past few days at my school though. we’ve had a lot of shocking decisions from colleges… my really good friend just got accepted to stanford, and we never thought it would happen (he totally deserved it though). then another person we know who we were almost certain would get accepted to northwestern got rejected. at this point, i can’t even predict what’ll happen to me. i could analyze it, but i’m so in the middle as far as stats go, it’s pretty much no use. i think i have a chance, at least.</p>
