Someone please tell me if an interview is essential for Shanghai or not.
I need to know.
It’s really important for me to know. I’d really appreciate some help.
@ImNYUobsessed I applied for a program at TNS that’s actually quite amazing. But I still have my fingers crossed for NYU too!!
@lizard2117 what is it? I applied to Lang.
Okay so after reading everyone’s posts I realized that not only have I not gotten the FA change, but the only thing my FA table says is 2015//New York University//Award access not available and under that, 2014//New York University//Financial Aid Year 2013 - 2014. Does anyone else not have anything that says 2016?
@alexx09 did you go to the NYU summer program?
@shady16 yeah and I know that’s why it says 2015 but idk why I don’t have 2016
You dont have the FA change its ok there is still time
GUYS CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF WE CAN GET IN TO SHANGHAI WITHOUT AN INTERVIEW OR NOT!
@kiani6996 i dont see why you wd NEED an interview…
@shady16 a lot of my fellow ED 2 applicants got their interviews for NYUSH. I didn’t so I was wondering if that’s a bad sign or not
NO FA change yet (international student here)
@kiani6996 You should chill man! Don’t worry, there are people who got in NYUSH without an interview !
@kiani6996 I don’t know if this is true for NYUSH, but I know that some NYU schools/campuses only do interviews for candidates that they feel are on the border, so don’t worry!
A couple pages earlier, people mentioned about being able to log into NYU classes or something? Where do you log in for that and is it indicative of anything?
@flyingox I don’t believe anything other than the (“still so weird”) FA change theory valid!
@ImNYUobsessed I applied to Lang also. I indicated on my application that I had interest in the Journalism+Design program. Therefore, I would study at Lang and Parsons.
So can somebody help me out here (ED1 applicants especially)
I applied for the LSP but I emailed them to changed my campus choice. I then selected Washington as my first choice (an email got sent out like a few days after I changed it)
When you get accepted, do they give you a choice of campuses or do they just stick you in wherever?
In addition, if decisions come out Friday, is it safe to check albert at midnight or should I just sleep on it and check it in morning?
I got the FA change in the beginning of January and I guess that calmed me a bit but I’m definitely not relying on it.
If you haven’t got the change yet, don’t stress. Many of my friends, especially international students, didn’t get the FA change and still got in!
Best of luck to everyone!
@ImNYUobsessed Speaking of TNS, I just received my decision. I’ve been accepted to TNS!
Congrats! @ImNYUobsessed
