NYU EDII Class of 2017 Discussion Thread

Got into CAS as a biology major through heop!!!

I’ve got the accept/decline link on Albert, but still no email. I applied for CAS, but apparently got Liberal Studies Core. Anybody else in this situation?

^^ I’m assuming you checked your spam!

But if you got that link, you’re in. Congrats!

has anyone seen their financial aid package yet? I havent :(

Hey Everyone! Congrats on your admissions! If you will be attending next year, make sure you follow the official NYU Twitter feed (@HashtagNYU) for all the latest updates on everything NYU! Once again congrats and we can’t wait to see you next year!

Hi everyone I applied to the liberal Core program directly and got accepted. I was offered an interview opportunity before the acceptance. Anyone else also being asked for an interview? Also I have the same questions as @London2NY had. They said “Your offer of admission is extended with the expectation that you will spend your freshman year in London” in the acceptance email. My question is that can I choose not to go to London in freshman year?

@nyuclassof2017 Did you get accepted by Stern? Do you know when they ship out the real package to international students?

Alright, for all the LSP people out there, I asked the NYU admissions guys whether I can move to the NYC campus instead of a global one. Basically, they told me that there is only a specific allotted number of students per each academic center and that they chose our’s based on what we said on our application. In another words, there is a waiting list for each campus but they were only able to move eight people to the NYC campus last year. Your chances are most likely slim, but if you would like to be put on that waiting list, email the admissions office ASAP.

Wohooo stern class of 2017 ;dddddddd see u guys in septemberrrr

@KJEO6582 The NYU undergrad office closes from Feb 15th to Feb 19th because of the President’s Day. No one was there to answer phone calls. How did you find out that information?

has anyone received scholarship/financial aid info. yet?

Hi Do you guys think we should create a facebook group to discuss the entry preparation such as housing, course choosing and advanced placement credit substitution stuff? I know NYU has already created an official page for class of 2017 but I just think a discuss group will be more active and will help us get to know each other better.
