NYU Email Question

Hello there. I applied to NYU regular decision and have been eagerly awaiting my response as I'm sure many others here have as well. Recently I received the following email:

"Dear Student,

Thank you for your application for admission to New York University. We appreciate your demonstrated interest in NYU. Our Admissions Committee enjoyed the initial review of your application and we would like to forward your application and supporting documents to the Scholarship Selection Committee for further review. This committee consists of individuals who may not be directly affiliated with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at New York University.

Although we do not require any additional applications to further consider you for any merit based scholarships at NYU we will need to make copies of your application and share the contents with our colleagues. Please review the attached waiver and respond as soon as possible if you would like to be considered by the Scholarship Selection Committee. I would encourage you to respond via email with your consent by Tuesday, February 19th. You may also fax your waiver form to the fax number listed below. Any documents that we share with our colleagues will only be used for the express purpose of scholarship review.

Please note, our application review process is in the very early stages and although we were pleased with your application this is not a guarantee of admission or scholarship. Feel free to reach out to me directly is you have any questions or concerns. "

As a student who feels as if they are entering the school within their lower 25% percentile and applied to it being their highest reach school, is this a good indication or just one of those emails everybody gets? Any comments are welcome!

so no comments anybody?

Well I don’t know about the acceptance indicator, but, as a student who got accepted already and is trying to figure out how the hell to go to this expensive school, I’m super jealous.
