Anybody receive an email about a Fafsa correction? It says it was done by the school I applied to, so that must be NYU. I’m wondering whether that’s a good sign, because wouldn’t they not even look at fafsa stuff if our apps are rejected?
But why doing so… It seems like this website doesn’t have much credibility…
Stop lying about your admissions decision. Who are you trying to impress by lying? Other anonymous people??? Stop.
Guys… The NYU official website says that Admissions will start rolling out beginning in early April
I spoke 1 on 1 with the woman who is personally reviewing my application in an informal way… She said she is reviewing my application right in front of her a week ago.
@Sxsxjx how did you come to find out who was reviewing your application?
@nyuhopefulmaybe she emailed me directly from her personal email, saying she was reviewing it and i was missing something and to send it to her
I was accepted a week ago from NYU. So those people were most likely not spreading rumors when they said they were accepted on here
Not sure what’s going on but I was definitely accepted and definitely not t.r.o.l.l.i.n.g. I’d leave a screenshot of the email but I don’t think you can on here. I’m not sure why admissions would say they aren’t releasing decisions? Maybe no more will be released for awhile but there definitely have been some released. It seems the admission office keeps giving contradicting information.
Yeah I was accepted too. I think maybe different schools released their decisions at different times and the person you spoke to might be thinking of stern or something.
My 2 cents… this is a very high stress time of year. Finals, transferring, scholarships… I don’t think anyone here is trying to be dishonest. So let’s all take a deep breathe, we will all get through this time! Until then cyber hug
Sorry if I sounded accusatory, I really did not mean to.
Ok. They are not lying. CAS is the first school releasing the decision because they don’t have artistic review --confirmed by the admission
I’m from another UAA member school and applied to CAS, submitted by the end of February. Still heard nothing from the admission office. Should I call them… Also, someone in this forum said that they send out decisions on Monday, but it seems like no one got in today…
@Baabsssssss I am in the same boat. I applied to CAS in February, but I would not worry it is still very early So CAS covers many majors, perhaps they send out all history majors one week, and social sciences another week… or perhaps it is by name, there are so many possibilities. Also, it is very possible that students were accepted today, but just are not on college confidential. Last week a good handful of this message board heard back so statistical it would make sense to not have any in one week. I am wishing you lots of luck!!
When does stern get their decisions out?
@Shan5696 i honestly don’t know. i haven’t heard a thing at all
Did anyone hear back yesterday… or today? I’m getting so anxious
CAS applicant here. My file was complete 10 days ago, When are we going to hear back?
Hey all, I’m a CAS student looking to transfer to Stern. To give you some hard facts, I know from friends that the people who applied for internal transfer from the liberal studies program have already received their notice from stern (April 1st). As for the rest of the university looking for internal transfer, like me, and external transfers from outside the school, I have no idea. Generally though, internal transfer decisions come out earlier than external ones (in the case of Stern). So if you’re an external applicant, you might be in for quite a long waiting period. Still haven’t received anything myself…
Those who were accepted to CAS, what program?
