I received the same email this afternoon – however, I was able to get through to admissions. The woman I spoke with told me they had received all of my documents and to disregard the email. I do not know if it is the same for everyone else but as someone said, it is a bit late for them to be requesting missing important documents if decisions come out on Monday. Hope this helps!!
I didn’t receive any emails. Started to worry if that’s kind of bad indication…
before they make a transfer to an admission assistant, those representatives already knew what I was calling for.
of course I wasn’t able to get to any admission assistant, i’ll call again tomorrow morning.
those who received the email, are you guys application status boxes are all checked off?
UPDATE: Thank you for your patience as we continue to resolve issues with our email software client.
If you are a transfer applicant with questions about an incomplete application, please follow these instructions:
-Log into your NYU Home account
-Click on the Academics tab
-Click on the Albert login button
-Navigate to the applicants section and click on the application status link
If you are an admitted student attempting to respond to our offer of admission, please check your email inbox or our Admitted Students webpage for instructions on how to respond through NYU Albert or by mail.
^^
there are people already got accepted.
what’s next then by “click on the application status” though? Of course we know how to check the status.
@waffle111 Where did you receive this update? via email or phone? Weird if via email since I received the initial doc about missing docs, but not that one.
@pineapple213
the email one didn’t specify what I was missing, but I assume we have the same one from email
the one i just posted i got that from" meet nyu" facebook, forgot to mention
i got the same email but i already handed everything in i just hope this doesn’t delay my acceptance/possible rejection
@162007392 I’m a US citizen and I applied to CAS.
Also, for those of you who think I’m lying, this is a screenshot of the email I received:
http://■■■■■■■.com/view.php?pic=250nuvl&s=9#.VyFCRmPZGts
i would say it might be a system error, since they are having issues with email system
@PurpleArmy I also applied Tandon. Did you submit mid- term report?
@Marrrry23 No, called them and they said I didn’t need to
What are people doing with housing? Is it hard for transfers to acquire on-campus accommodation?
Also do people know if we are allowed to do 5 subjects per semester?
I was planning on getting an apartment by campus. @transfer1738
@transfer1738 … i know that getting on-campus housing is not guaranteed (especially when you can only confirm housing after you accept your decision) but… is it near impossible to find on campus housing?
Just so everyone knows I spoke to a woman and she said there was a glitch in their system and that the email was sent to ALL transfer students. She said to check my application status on Albert and if any of the boxes ARE unchecked I could stay on the line and wait to talk to someone, however, if all the boxes were checked then I most likely do not need to talk to an admissions assistant. Hope this helps! I am actually missing my high school transcript and she asked if I know for certain they should have received then she could put me though to talk to someone or just call back in 24 hours.
I just got through to an admissions assistant this morning! I explained my situation about my standardized test scores (I’m a second year college student so they were optional) and everything was squared away:)
@closec Wait, I didn’t get the email. Is this a bad indication…
@Baabsssssss I did not get email either. Which school are you applying ?
