@annadragon Yeah I haven’t had any changes yet, unfortunately. I’ve already got accepted into Boston University and, given my family connection to Columbia, I’m hoping to get into Columbia. So, if I get rejected by NYU, it’s not the end of the world.

So I’m guessing decisions won’t be released again until the end of the week? What also is so bothersome is the overlapping of deadlines like SUNY Binghamton’s deadline for a deposit is May 1st, and they do not offer extensions. I was (and still am) hoping to hear back from NYU and Columbia before then, but if I do not pay my $350 Bing deposit on time, I lose my spot, but if I do not get into NYU or Columbia then I will be over deadlines and practically screwed. If I get into NYU or Columbia, but have already paid my deposit for Bing, I may lose placement in either schools, and if not that, I’m out $350. Yay transferring.
Also, I’m a CAS applicant for English with stats that blend in with everyone else’s, solid essays, a legacy from NYU, and great recommendations. I applied February 8th so I’ve been refreshing this thread as well as Albert like a maniac since the first decisions have been released
@acdiscenza Looks likes your best bet is to pay Binghamton the 350 and play the rest out by ear. What program at Binghamton? I don’t know too much about it but I heard their business program is the strongest one
I’m gonna wait until April 30th after 5PM. I got into the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, and the main reason I’m considering so strongly is because I could go for free thanks to that new bill that passed. No college debt is an absolute plus. If I don’t get a lot from NYU or CU then I just don’t think I can afford it

I sent everything in April 1st- however, on my albert, the date attributed to my application is April 3rd? weird! maybe that’s the date everything was processed. it’s been been over 4 weeks, either way! (I’m CAS for dramatic lit)
@lovelybowie8 Same here! I applied on March 31st and on Albert, the date states April 3rd… I have no clue why, butt I think your right, it’s probably the date that it was processed
Don’t panic, guys. I applied on march 31 st. On the Albert it said April 3rd. It’s because the first business day after march 31 st is April 3rd.
Anyone get any changes since yesterday?
this is random but for anyone wondering: i got accepted yesterday and my housing status didn’t change on housing.nyu.edu/apply from “non-renewable undergraduate” to “transfer undergraduate” until today (: don’t worry if you don’t have that particular change lol
@Jmercy199 no changes for me yet… I just wish there was a small glimpse of hope from the heavens haha
@cjeong98 hopefully by next week the latest. I’m starting to lose hope. I may take a semester off if I don’t get in. I can’t imagine staying at current college.
