I was surprised to get a decision so soon even though I sent my application in January because I only sent in my midterm grades in and acually completed my application on Monday!
@clk123 did you get an email that your application was complete?
@colhopeful443 no but I got an email mid-March that my application was incomplete and I needed to send a college report and midterm grades.
@clk123 how did you submit your midterm report? through the document email? if so, which is the email exactly?
@msport i sent mine to admissions.docs@nyu.edu and i confirmed that they received it over the phone 
Ah same, I was thinking maybe i’ll call to confirm they received it or send it again and hope someone looks at it and decides to send my decision out LOL, I’m reaching I know
Someone hold me backkkkk because I just called admissions and THEY JUST SAID DECISIONS FOR REGULAR APPLICANTS CAME OUT ALREADY AND FOR TRANSFERS WE WILL HEAR IN JUNE. this can’t be possible

I just don’t appreciate them saying one thing and then having other people finding out yesterday, today, or soon because then admissions is just lying to us
My materials still aren’t checked off on Albert, so I called and the admissions officer said it usually takes 1.5-2 weeks after receiving them to process them. Hopefully that helps anyone in a similar boat.
I am not a big fan either @mishk90, but I guess it makes sense. Everyone wants to know when decisions are out and if they tell you “check the next weeks”, then you’ll have people complain that they haven’t received anything. Just too time consuming.
I just don’t understand how some people are already hearing back, are they traanfers or first year applicants…?
@mishk90 I think they are first year applicants. Just going off what I see on some instagram accounts from NYU. I think I can count on one hand the amount of transfers that have been notified haha
And this is a transferrrrrr thread, not a first year applicant thread like senior going into college, this is college (freshman, soph, junior) going into NYU or ahhhhh, I’m going to have a nervous breakdown lol
Three people got accepted yesterday. Does that mean each wave comes out on each Thursday?
There are threads for those who are high school seniors going in as freshman, this is just for college fresh-junior who are transfers, I’m sure myself and others don’t want to get too excited or worried if we keep hearing people are getting decisions when they’re just first years
Okay so I just got an email saying that they’re missing my college report! Like they literally sent me an email this morning saying that my application was complete WHAT IS HAPPENING
They’re messing with us and I don’t like it
I called the other day and they told me that my application was complete, but nobody sent me an email saying that it was complete so now I’m out here stressing
