@transferkidnyu I’m pretty sure that it’s random/by college. If it was first come first serve, then I’m pretty sure that I’d be the first one to hear back. (I applied in September or something like that)
@vincen1997 I agree. It could be that they started to review the application at one point but there’s still people submitting application, so they just take whichever that’s next to their hands. Also so many people are having the situation of missing materials(including me LOL), even if they actually are viewing urs, they still need that material, so they have to put that for later review.

DID ANYONE ELSE SUBMIT HIS/HER CSS PROFILE?! I’m freaking out because I barely submitted mine today, but I have not done the IDOC yet. I’m doing it right now CRAPPPPPP
I submitted FAFSA back in February, but didn’t submit my CSS profile until early March. I’ve seen some horror stories of people not getting any aid because CSS was apparently due in Feb. Just get it done asap there’s nothing you can do so it’s not worth stressing over

Hello everyone! So I’ve been lurking for a while, and I am every bit as anxious as all of you. I was waitlisted last year, and I know waiting can seem like mental torture. I just want to say that no matter what, we will all be successful in whatever field we may choose. I have faith that we will all end up at the university we are meant to be at, if that’s even our path. Good luck to everyone, and I sincerely hope that we are all able to get accepted into NYU. <3
Regarding CSS, my data that I submitted last year was still in their system and marked as received on my portal, so I did not touch it. Also, what is IDOC???
Lmao so i just got an email that my financial aid award was available …yes, at 1:30 am (EST) Lol idk why they sent it this late, but I’m just wondering if anybody else who was accepted received his or her aid summary? I know NYU is notoriously not very good with aid, but I am wondering if it is negotiable?? I did receive a Gallatin scholarship, which is nice and unexpected, but it is for like less than 1/3 of the scholarship that I am receiving from my current university. At the end of the day, I truly can’t stay at my current university, take the classes I want to take, and graduate with a degree in anything, so I will be attending NYU if I am not accepted to any other universities I applied to, but do you guys think there’s any chance of getting some more scholarship money? How much is typical for an NYU Gallatin scholarship? Thanks in advance for any info you guys have, i really appreciate it.

Transfer applicants only submit fafsa, it says it specifically on the website and in your application confirmation email

Two days ago I contacted NYU’s admissions office they said, “Transfers for this coming fall will be notified on a rolling basis throughout May.” Just wanted to let u guys know!

Spoke on the phone with an NYU undergrad rep today to ask about my materials and asked about notification date- they said decisions will not be coming out until May which is when they will start rolling out.
But there were few ppl got accepted last Thursday
How could you know that?
