Don’t know if there is an average GPA, but FYI page 13 of this https://www.nyu.edu/content/dam/nyu/institutionalResearch/documents/CDS_2019-2020_4_01rev.pdf
shows there was around a 22% admit rate for transfer applicants for last fall. Around half of those admitted actually enrolled.
As with freshman applicants it looks like transfer applicants have been rising steadily, from 7300 a few years ago to 8500 last year. They seem to only publish transfer stats for fall in the CDS.
How can you see that?
Control F, transfers. The data is toward the end of the PDF.
Have anyone received a decision yet?

Hi guys I was just accepted into CAS as a CS major - GPA: 4.0, coming from a state school
@brmgross They sent me an email that there was an update and then I went to my application portal to see the decision.
Congratulations to everyone that got in! When did y’all apply?
omg I hope we all get our decisions soon
I applied like end of February, so very early, that’s probably the reason I got it back so early.
Did your status page go blank before you got your decisions today?
@cattt1107 I want to join your group, please !
So who got decisions today? Just people that applied to CAS?
They roll decisions, so it is based on when you submitted your application.
Hey everyone! Got accepted into CAS for Data Science. GPA - 3.9. Came from an online school. I applied late February. Received an email today about an update to my application but had to log into my application portal to find out.
