I would really appreciate your honest opions regarding the Engineering program/school at NYU. Is it worth the money for an NYU Engineering degree? I am trying to finalize my decision and NYU Engineering is on my list, what can you guys tell me about it? I mean I know about the school and everything but what are you're opinions in regards to NYU Engineering?

are you talking about nyu stevens or nyu-poly? because i got into nyu-poly (I’m pre-med) and they are a really good engineering school in nyc. i dont really think nyu is great for engineering but nyu-poly is supposedly a great engineering school. you should consider applying there for sure…they have rolling admissions. it is in brooklyn, and they are an affiliated school of nyu but you still can use nyu’s facilities and they are working on making it their engineering college. (like stern for business.). But yeah, check that out and good luck with other college plans! im visiting poly next weekend, if you want, you can ask me how it was and ill give you info.

Well I got accepted to NYU-Poly for Chemical Engineering. I visited the school too and I fell in love with the school although it is a bit of an old building (undergoing remodeling though) but the labs…THE LABS!!! for ChemE and al their robotics clubs, their coursework, the library (really nice), its just a very awesome place although there is no campus the school is prime for good research and stuff, the dorms are very new and very spacious and nice too. However, I’m just spectacle on things you know like how is NYC, do you get hired right after school, and I’ve heard criticism…lots of criticism regarding NYU’s new engineering school. Honestly I loved it, but what do you think… Are you going to the accepted students day? If so let me now too how that went since I live in OKC, I cannot attend (too much money just for breakfast and a tour lol)
