Hey guys, so I applied to CAS through HEOP as well, and Poly is my second choice school.
Do you HAVE TO be nominated by the school to be consider for HEOP? Or you just simply had to check the box on common app to be consider?
@snoogleki nyu has to refer u to the heop. Checking box on the common app doesn’t put u in the heop pool.
So I went to the interview today, and apparently out of 2,000 students referred to HEOP only about 550 get interviews and 125 are admitted. This came from the program coordinator.

i never checked albert before, but i checked it today, and it says that they still didnt receive my transcript yet. The thing is I sent everything in early dec. online =-=so worried
they are…the other 1500 who didn’t get interviewers, I’m guessing are not in
she did not mention anything on interviewes not being required

it went well, my interviewer was really sweet. I’m sure you’ll get the email! HEOP is a great opportunity

@fah12 many past threads said it is not really an interview. u basic just go in and they give u a form to fill out. then u go to this room and see the presentation about heop. and the they call ur name to go up to them to give them ur tax info and thats it.
