my financial aid status changes from “no financial aid data available” to “award access not available”. does that mean anything. also r u guys planning to commute if u were accepted?

I called the NYU admission office and was told that there are no more information sessions left for ED2 applicants. Does this mean I am not being considered for HEOP:( I fit in all the requirements, yet I do not understand why I did not get an interview. So upset. :-<
@NYUhopeful123 That would’ve been something to ask. It’s possible not all of them have been conducted yet and invites are pending.
My guess would’ve been that they’d wary for first term senior grades before sending out invites, but you never know
@playforever, You should call and ask if they are done with the information session, maybe the person I spoke to gave me incorrect information.

Potentially qualified applicants are invited for an Opportunity Programs Eligibility Information Session and eligibility interview, and will be asked at that time to submit all supplemental materials (income verification and copies of financial aid forms filed, e.g. FAFSA, CSS Profile).
@BabyPanda33, my albert also says “award access not available”, I applied ED2 through HEOP still no email yet, Last name is S.
@itssha3 did u meet all the requirements? make sure u send in everything. also may mean that u r not qualify for heop or u are accepted RD or rejected. they may also put u in the RD pool and not ED2.

i dont think nyu is doing info session alphabetically. i feel that they r sending of email about the info session to the student who finish the app first. i send in my app on nov 24. also the info session for RD is from feb to mid march.

Even if your freshman application is complete, please submit a Mid-year Report (by March 1) and Final Report (by July 1), with an updated copy of your transcript. The Final Report is only required if you are offered admission. Both reports are accessible via the Common Application website and must be submitted with an official transcript.
@BabyPanda33 , i sent in everything i guess I was rejected?? When was the ed2 info session? Or are the info sessions just for rd?
