<p>Let me preface this by saying that I want an undergraduate experience in business and then want attend law school. One of my dream law schools is NYU law and I was wondering how much of an impact my undergraduate institution would have on a potential acceptance. For instance, would it be easier to be accepted to NYU law from NYU Stern or Georgetown MSB?</p>
<p>Not particularly. While NYU Stern and Georgetown are excellent, you can get into NYU law with a good undergrad GPA and a good LSAT. Now…a 3.2 from Georgetown is valued differently than a 3.2 from, say, Rutgers (not saying it is a bad school), so you’d need to have a slightly higher undergrad GPA and better ECs for admission.</p>
<p>Not to mention you’d be surprised that most kids to schools like NYU Law did not come from top undergrad schools.</p>
<p>Also, NYU Stern has a nice JD/MBA program. Hard, but nice if you want a mix. This is grad though.</p>
<p>I would strongly advise you not to go to law school, because of the VAST over-supply of lawyers.</p>

<p>There is a VAST oversupply of people advising youth on the internet not to go into the law field.</p>
