the school you plan to attend wants that final HS transcript.

depends on what the acceptance letter says. some schools just want you maintain at least a 3.0. this other kid i know had to score 38+ on the IB out of 45 to go to columbia.

i have a 95 average

if it drops to 85 wat happens?

uh I was under the impression that NYU did require a mid year report
it said so on the common app
or is my mind playing tricks on me...?

i dunno bout that. I called and the guy there told me that they dont ask for mid yea report..... BUMP

95>85 nothing will happen

Oh thanks, what if it goes down to 75.. BUMP BUMP BUMP

Why are you asking this...? 95 to 85 to 75? And yes, NYU does require a midyear report. I don't know a single school that doesn't require a midyear and final year transcript. Senior grades are super important and I'm sure they won't mind a few Bs, but Cs might give you trouble. If you get anything below a C, then I'd worry a lot.

NYU does not require a mid year report. About half the schools my daughter applied to asked for mid year grades, the other half didn't. You need to call admissions for up-to-date info. Admissions at NYU said that if they needed the grades, they would contact you...otherwise do NOT send.

Just try your best throughout your senior year. Don't let things lag, and you should be fine.
