NYU - No Campus?

Hey guys, I was recently admitted to NYU for next year. As of now, it's one of my top choices (in my top 2), but the only thing holding me back from hitting that confirm button is the fact that there's no campus setting. I just don't know if that'll be something that I will regret not having for my 4 years as an undergrad.

Are there any current students that could shed a little light on this?

Your campus is NYC. What better campus is that? lol :p

I’d recommend you visit and tour the facilities, dorms and surrounding area. If you are going to be there for 4 years, it will be a good investment to visit.

As stated above, NYC is your campus and you want to visit. All of the academic facilities are on or around Washington Square and we take up a lot of space around around the park - Something around 15 blocks of academic building/dorm. Almost all freshmen dorms are located here on the park. There are a few exceptions. Some of the academic buildings: Tisch/Cooper Square buildings are not on campus and a few blocks to walk to. Upperclassmen dorms are also not on the square and are relatively spread out. The highest concentration of which is around Union Square. Would definitely recommend visiting and taking a tour of the campus. It’s very unique in it’s campus setting and it’s not for everyone. But for those who love the city, or don’t mind a true city campus, it’s a perfect fit.
