NYU or UCSD for Pre-Med?

<p>I have been accepted to both NYU and UCSD and would like to pursue medicine in the future. I have done research but am still confused as to which school has the better pre-medicine program.</p>

<p>UCSD pre-med is hella good, I live in San Diego and we’re known for biotech and med, most of my friends would rather go to UCSD med than Cal or UCLA. NYU is not known for med and I’m assuming its either LSP or Gallatin (CAS maybe) and they are no where near as good as UCSD. Of course money is a factor and if you can handle the competition at UCSD but I’m pretty sure NYU is 2x UCSD</p>

<p>I would go with UCSD. I’ve heard NYU is not very good with FA, so you’ll rack up plenty of debt before med school. UCSD also seems to have a great premed program.</p>
