Hello, everyone!
I was recently admitted to the College of Arts and Science at New York University and am still thinking about my major. I was pretty interested in the Dual Degree Program which allows you in three years to receive a B.S. from CAS (in my case chemistry) and in two years a B.S. from the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering (in my case chemical and biomolecular engineering). I have found out that this program is set to stay in place even now that Poly has officially become NYU's school of engineering (effective January 1, 2014). However, the NYU page regarding this topic is horribly outdated and unspecific, so I have a few questions.
1) While you are attending the engineering school, can you stay in a residence hall in Manhattan? I figure you can since you are an NYU student. I would prefer to commute to Brooklyn and live in Manhattan since Manhattan was such a big selling point for NYU.
2) Is it possible to complete this program in four years?
Which leads me to my final question...
3) What is the specific curriculum? (course schedule)
Thank you all in advance! (sources/links appreciated)

I know some people doing this program so I can help you a bit.

1) Yes.
2) Yes, as long as come in with enough AP/college credits.
3) You would have to ask the advisers for that I believe. It depends on what two majors you’re completing and considering there might be some alterations in the engineering school curriculum next year this might be subject to change.
