Nyu-Poly vs. Rutgers vs. Drexel

So I am currently stuck trying to decide what college to go to..
I'm factoring in jobs after undergrad, tuition costs and overall school experience
I'm also debating which engineering to do.. Computer or Mechanical (most likely going to computers)

Poly will cost me $35,000 a year (i got a bunch of scholarships)
Drexel will cost me around $39,000 a year (5 year w/ three co-op)
and Rutgers will cost like.. $20,000ish

Run the numbers here: [FinAid | Calculators | Award Letter Comparison Tool](<a href=“Your Guide for College Financial Aid - Finaid”>Award Letter Requirements - Finaid) and ask your parents how they feel about paying twice as much for Drexel as for Rutgers. Even with the co-ops to help cover the difference, that does not look good at all.

You’d dorm at Poly? 35k/year? Try subletting; much less expensive. I know you said you want the “college experience” but that’s insane unless your parents net income is like 150k+/year. Even so, that’s a huge fraction of your ‘parents’ income…imagine what they could spend it on for you instead :(

If those are seriously the numbers, you really need to go to Rutgers. And ask your parents for a nice new macbook if you go there over Poly/Drexel. I think they’ll adore you for the next four years…
