You would have to FAIL multiple subjects and NOT GRADUATE. Bs and Cs won’t catch their attention.

Just don’t fail anything, or let all your classes drop to Cs and Ds.

You just have to keep decent grades. Bs are fine, but they won’t take kindly to Cs on your report card. Mostly admission offers get rescinded when grades change drastically.

will Cs really be detrimental? or would Bs and Cs be fine?

Well, the whole point of the report cards (being reported) are to see that you haven’t let go of your grades just because you have been accepted… I’d be wary about Cs.

I’ve read in this facebook NYU group post where the admissions officer stated that they rarely have time to even look over student’s 2nd semester grades…

I wouldn’t worry about Cs unless its like straight Cs. On NYU’s info forum someone asked about a specific class and the answer said they could forgive a C if it came to that. I really doubt they care about Cs.

4,500 transcripts. I doubt the admissions people even look at them. By the time you graduate you have to remember that they’re probably already starting to crank up the marketing machine for the next cycle.

I think you’re safe short of being convicted of a felony and ending up in prison.

lol, i got extreme senioritis… uhm, u guys think maintaining an 85-90 avg, and failing spanish lit is gonna be a riot or not???.. lbasically a mid 70’s for ap bio, and like 80’s and 90’s for everything else… basically goin from a 93-94 avg to a 85-87 avg

@joeleeblackbelt: what are you talking about dude… that is nowhere even CLOSE to “extreme” senioritis. i think you all need to calm down a bit. i had multiple c’s first semester and was STILL admitted to nyu with a scholarship. i still have multiple c’s but i’m not caring because i am too busy second semestering. seriously, unless you fail multiple classes, don’t graduate, or get charged with a felony… you won’t get rescinded. you’ve worked your ass off for four years. it’s time to take it easy

LOL all of the kids in my school are telling me I’m going to get rescinded over a C in Calc…

lmao… u should have heard my azn mom when i said i was gonna fail spanish lit… imagine a tall azn mom wit a heavy accent yelling at u in konglish… i started cracking up… of course, that didnt help the situation -.-

NuclearPakistan, you got an F in our Calculus class, not a C.

68 = F :)

lol^ a 68 in our school district is a D?

^DAMMIT DMOC you’re killing my uber cool attitude.

Just go to Williams, leave me alone in calc class lol

if i dropped a class and got a W on my transcript, will that be bad?

i got in with 2 junior year c’s. you’ll probably be ok, just a hunch.

would you get rescinded with a

D
A
A-
B+
A

^I’m wondering about D’s too.

I have:
D B B A A A
& I’m really scared about that D in AP Chemistry(hardest class EVER). Will NYU rescind you for one D?
