hey everyone,
i wasn't actually expecting to get into NYU Stern, but now that I've received the university day letter... it gives me hope that if i do get in I will go there.
So I've been slacking off (just like every other senior in the country) but NYU just looks at final course grades for the year and not semester/quarter grades right?

by the end, NYU will get your final transcript....
which will have your final grades, yes. there is no midterm grade report at NYU, just the final transcript. DO NOT slack off, some ppl get their acceptance letters taken away. so dont play around.
dont' get too paranoid, i got paranoid cos i though my grades were gonna be bad, but nothing happened to me. but still, why trigger it right?
hang in there !!!

how bad is bad??? b/c i just can't seem to do anything right in calculus- it isn't like im slacking off- i just suck at it..

As long as you don't fail a class you should be fine. But my goal would be to have nothing less than a C and the majority A's and B's

they compare your final grades w/your other grades from before...if you got straight As and then all of a sudden Cs, you might be in trouble.
but don't get paranoid.....just dont fail or get straight Cs or something.
As and B+ are fair, and dont let your gpa drop by anything significant.

so from a 4.1 to a 3.9 isn't too bad??

That seems fine to me

They do consider your first semester grades of senior year right?? bcoz that semester brought my GPA up by 2 points...
