NYU Spring '10 Transfers!

wait so van you might apply AGAIN to transfer to any ivy?..anyways I’m transferring in spring because I heard it was easier to get in for spring, I was ready to leave my current school, and I figure the earlier I transfer to the school I want to graduate from, the more likelihood I have of still graduating on time. I’m not trying to get stuck taking an extra semester to graduate…meaning my parents would kill me if I did…Overall it just kinda seemed like the right move, although saving the money would be nice.

Hell no, NYU is my first choice by far, I just would have wanted to see if I got in or not…

But I hear you about saving money! This one semester is going to cost like 23k… ***** my life…

I got my mail today… Wooooo

ah got it. Yeah I received an email today saying I was accepted, still waiting on the mail. Anyways congratulations to everybody who got in, should be a good time. Quite the nerve wracking experience though. So van/anybody else, why did YOU apply for spring

just curious is it too late to receive financial aid? I doubt that I even qualify lol. I didn’t do anything (such as fill out FAFSA, etc) up until now.

WHOOOOT (acceptance received today)

got my mail too!

city-

i applied to spring semester because I thought my current school is really not a fit for me.
It’s quite funny because I ‘just’ transferred to this school this Fall term and applied to NYU to give it a try, and I got in. :)

yup…i got my acceptance email… :)

they said they are sending me dorm placement on the first week of january. anyone?

To anybody that got the acceptance packet in the mail, did it come with any of those car window stickers? I got some from another college I was accepted to. Just wondering. . .

i’m not sure if i should bring my car to NYC… i mean, i’m going to live in dorm for first semester. not even sure if there are any parking lots. but even when i move out, i wonder if i should take it to NYC. anyone wondering this issue as well?

jbkcrew. same dilemma. except after talking with a few friends there, it’s IDIOTIC to bring a car there. No reason whatsoever. Creates more problems than it solves. Taxi is the way to go.

I’ll miss driving my Bimmer on a daily basis tear oh well.

DO NOT BRING A CAR.

you will pay more for parking than you will in insurance. i am not kidding. i am a New Yorker, and i have never driven my car in Manhattan.

I’m in!! Now, which to choose…NYU or University of Miami?? Coming from Tulane.
SO excited. =]
