I really am struggling with this decision as Northeastern would be about 20k cheaper. I was wondering if anyone could offer insight into if I will see a substantial quality between the difference in internships I would receive from either institution as well as if Stern is worth the 80k a year
Where is the extra 20K a year coming from? Any loans?
Northeastern has the co-op program and the #2 ranked career center by the Princeton Review, so Northeastern will offer plenty of opportunities there, and international co-ops are a great way to get experience.
Stern has its reputation, which it lives up to from everyone I know, and a top notch career center as well.
I don’t think you’ll see a big difference in career opportunities if any at all between the two. From a pure value standpoint, Northeastern would be my pick. However, if you can afford the premium, there are reasons to pick NYU for sure.
