NYU Stern Undergrad

I am a junior at a top prep school located in Albuquerque New Mexico. I have recently become very interested in investment banking and wallstreet. I have done research and discovered that Stern Undergrad and Wharton Undergrad are the top feeders to investment banks on Wallstreet. I am posting this because I want to know my chances of getting into these schools.

My unweighted GPA is around a 3.8
So far i have taken
AP World: 85, 5 on exam
AP Chem: 93, 3 on exam
AP Calc AB: 96 5, on exam
This year I am taking
AP Calc BC: 96 so far
AP Bio: 96 so far
AP Spanish Language: 89 so far
Math II SAT: 730
SAT: 1500

My electives include singing in the Santa Fe Opera for two years, singing at shcool for 9-12, I won state mock trial two years in a row and got 4th at nationals, chess club, student newspaper, varsity soccer this year and most likely next year. Also, my mom is an alumni of University of Pennsylvania

If you could provide info that would be amazing.
Thanks

The fact that you are legacy at Penn will really help you if you apply ED. For Penn your stats are around/ a bit below average, but of course still within the feasible range for admission. maybe you would want to retake Math II since Wharton places a lot of emphasis on it.
For Stern your stats are competitive. Obviously you have a higher chance of getting at Stern than Wharton. I would say apply ED to Penn for Wharton and if you do not get in, apply to NYU for Stern during RD.

thank you so much for the advice

I agree. Apply ED to Penn. that’s your best shot. What was your SAT breakdown?

Ok great. SATs look fine. I think you’ll be in good shape for UPenn. Not too many kids apply from New Mexico, so the geography does give you somewhat of a boost. Good luck
