Nyu tisch 2015 chance me!

Hey I know it is hard to chance without grades, but I just want some comments on my film submission.

Link is here: 28 and Counting

Thanks so much

wow!! Awesome short film! You WILL get in!

why even bother. have you seen your work and resume?

but my grades are 3.5 unweighted (2 honors and 2 ap like classes) and an 1860. But i have amazing essays and great recommendations

Dude, you will get in with that resume of yours. Your grades maybe on the lower edge for NYU CAS, but you are fine for Tisch.

kk thanks so much…hope so…i guess at 5pm on the 15th we’ll know for sure

The video is great. Your grades might be a little bit low though. It should balance out, I think.

hopefully…I just really wanna know asap haha

I love your movie!! Bravo! (I’m a mom, btw, and don’t have a student applying, but do have a daughter at Tisch Drama). The only problem I have with your work is that you called him an “elderly” man. Ack! this guy is middle- aged!! Is that how we look to you kids??

Anyway, I was really moved by your movie, and I think that you have a real storytelling ability, which is what Tisch seems to want from what I understand. I was impressed by how you were able to keep it simple – not showy or gimmicky – and yet provide a very emotional and gripping experience for the viewer.

Best of luck to you and everyone applying!

Your grades are good enough. It’s a 50/50 thing between NYU and Tisch, but they did say at the open house that sometimes it can be 60/40 or 40/60 etc if one side is very strong.

I have similar grades (3.5, 1930, 5 AP, 6 Honors).

did you get in?
