NYU Tisch to Law School?

Undergrad accepted to Tisch for singing (and also at some undergrads such as Georgetown and Wash U St. Louis).

I love singing/performing so I'm obviously quite grateful. However, I also love school and really want to go to a top law school after I graduate (Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Stanford, Duke, etc.). I may want to go into entertainment law.

My question are these: is NYU (in general) prestigious enough to get me into these schools, provided I can maintain a GPA between 3.7 - 4.0, and can get a good LSAT score? Will double-majoring between Tisch and general NYU be considered a rigorous enough program, or is NYU not going to cut it? (I love NYU general and think it's awesome, I'm just going off info. that I have read on other forums)

Secondly, does being enrolled in Tisch give my application any more prestige that just being enrolled in general NYU? Is it going to hurt me that I am applying to law school from Tisch, or does that make me a more interesting candidate? Is that more "prestigious" and rigorous to apply from than general NYU, or would I be better off attending a more traditional institution such as WashU?

THANK YOU SO MUCH

Help me please!

bump. i really need help, please.

Major in whatever you want for undergrad, law schools will not care - you simply need to get a good GPA and high LSAT score. Certain majors potentially prepare students better for the LSAT than others (philosophy and math majors have the highest average scores on the LSAT).

NYU is a top school and law schools will not differentiate between NYU and every other top/good school in the country; some say they won’t care where you went at all.
