@Goodweather we’re in the same boat. Cas applicant here, my last name starts with S as well and I have 4.0 gpa with 1440sat. I found that I don’t have good rec tho. Anyway, I have no idea why they are dragging the decision, good luck to you.
Steinhardt Education major here…still no decision. I applied in March and my last name begins with A so I have no clue what their method is. I’m beginning to expect the worst at this point but congrats to those accepted, loving vibes to those rejected today and for those of us still waiting, try to stay sane until next Thursday.

CAS reject here. Looks like today was a wave of rejections. Just wondering, what is your plan now after rejection? I’ve been accepted to Stony Brook but my financial aid package isnt enough for me enroll and it’s in Long Island. I was really set on coming to nyc for school but my major isn’t an easy one to find a good school for. Any advice? Not sure what to do now

Test scores: Waived (IB)
Either I’m terrible at writing essays or I’m just not good enough. I think I’ll apply for Spring, depending on how they answer the shameful desperate ‘reject in denial’ email I sent them shortly after finding out I was denied. <<what’s wrong="" with="" me="">>. Long time lurker here lol I applied to Tisch for Photograph & Imaging and I still haven’t gotten anything. My portal went blank last week, but I didn’t receive anything. I don’t have that much of an “impressive” academic/extracurricular stuff, but I am hoping that my essays and portfolio made up for it. I was accepted to my second choice of school, but my heart is set on NYU tbh.
