<p>that’s the exact same message i got when i tried to view my FA. i called the FA office 2 days ago and they said its because they haven’t set up our FA package yet… which i find ridiculous. she told me to call back today and no one picked up!!! the housing fee is due june 1 and i am not sure if i want to live on campus since its soo expensive. i really want to take a look at my FA awards.</p>
<p>I got a letter in the mail (separate from the acceptance package) with my financial info and I still receive the same message. It’s very odd, but I guess I’ll call them on Monday.</p>

I called this morning, and my application was still legitimately under review. But they had reached a decision on it by 4 pm, when I called the second time. (Yes I was that impatient,haha)</p>
<p>My point is that I wouldnt give up hope yet. NYU is random with its timings, you still have a shot. : )</p>

<p>Current standing: a rising senior at University of Maryland, College Park. Smith’s Business school (yes I was planning on taking another 2 years at NYU but well, now I could graduate in a year :))
Major: Finance, Accounting (recently dropped, but NYU won’t be able to see that)
Minor: Mathematics
GPA: 3.5 (I am really quant oriented which I thought could tremendously boost my chances but…I got a lot of B’s in non-science classes. This is what NYU doesn’t want to see I guess)
SAT (not quite relevant): CR 530 Math 770 W 540
SAT II: Math II: 780, Physics: 800 (like I said I don’t think those helped me any because they are so long time ago)
And also, I am an international student, which might have some negative effects? maybe.</p>

<p>no, i don’t think you need to apply for scholarship. but it’s tremendously hard for nyu to give you any, especially when you are an international.</p>

Im curious to know because Im wait listed, and this probably decides the date Ill find out my final decision by.</p>
