NYU & USC: Full IB Diploma Student, 3.01 unweighted GPA, tons of extra curriculars

I am a full IB Diploma Junior taking all IB Higher Level courses (except for Math, I'm taking IB Standard Level Math Studies). My unweighted GPA is a 3.01, which I know is pretty low; however, I took AP US my sophomore year and all my freshmen and sophomore year classes were Pre-IB courses. I just got my PSAT results back and I got a 1630 (Reading: 60, Math: 47, and Writing: 56). I have a solid list of extracurriculars:
*Soccer
*Yearbook
*Advisor for FBLA
*Advisor for DECA/Economics Club
*I started my own tutoring/mentoring program for Pre-IB freshmen and sophomores
*Academic Decathlon
I'm aiming for a 30 on the ACT, which may be a stretch considering my PSAT scores; however, my writing and reading scores were quite high (around the 85 percentile), it was my math score that really brought me down. I'd like to know my chances of getting accepted to NYU, USC, and University of Michigan @ Ann Arbor.
Thanks for any help, I know these may be a bit of a stretch and any other school suggestions would be appreciated. I have a couple majors that I'm considering because I want to go into Business/International Business/Marketing.

We can’t give you any guesses without real score.

Your GPA is too low for all those schools, and UMich is out of reach due to you being OOS.

If you really want to study in business, consider Indiana U.

Here’s the thing: to get into these schools, you should have a minimum GPA and minimum SAT score. A good score for these schools is an SAT score of anything over 2200 and an ACT of 34, and any GPA of 4.0 and over.
“B” students can usually get into their state schools. Sorry to burst your bubble, but these two schools are extremely competitive and as a B student, it would be too hard.

Some of the responses on here are ridiculous and rude. Firstly, there is ALWAYS a chance for admission to any college. I once spoke to an admissions officer from the College of William and Mary who admitted to me that if you can evoke some kind of emotion in her with your essays (sadness, inspiration, humor) she’ll admit you, regardless of your scores. It’s rare but it happens. The fact that someone would immediately limit your academic potential to community college is sickening and if you desire more from your college experience, then I am confident you can achieve it. The advice I would give you is to not just be involved with the extracurriculars that you listed, but attain leadership positions. You also need to get that GPA up to AT LEAST a 3.6 AT THE VERY MINIMUM. You have to decide which courses are the most challenging at your school that you also believe you can do well in. Lastly, a PSAT score of a 1630 and aspirations of an ACT score of 30 is not outrageous at all. In fact, my freshman year, I got a 1600 on my PSAT and later was able to get a 30 on my ACT my junior year. I promise its possible:). Don’t let others bring you down. Find your passions and excel in them. Colleges love to see you pursuing your interests. At this point, I don’t think it would be worth it to chance you for your three colleges, but keep working hard and never give up!!!

Thank you so much for your response @nnocnat2‌ . I’m very passionate about what I do and, as I said, I’m taking the most challenging level in every subject with the exception of Math that my school offers (which are Higher Level International Baccalaureate courses). I’m trying extremely hard to get my GPA up, it was honestly only my freshmen year scores that brought me down due to my constantly having panic attacks because of the stress on top of my best friend dying about a year prior. Thank you for staying positive and encouraging me. I am also getting a private ACT tutor and have subject tutors for my actual schoolwork as well as preparing for my FBLA and DECA competitions. Thanks again.

Being a IB canditate basically gives you admission to Baylor and SMU in Texas and they are pretty good schools.

3.01 GPA is far too low for NYU, UMich and USC, and a 30 ACT is on the lower end of spectrum for these schools as well. You might want to consider applying/going to whatever top state school is available in your state. Not to dishearten you from trying, but I had a 3.75 UW GPA, 2150 SAT and 32 ACT and didn’t get into USC. Best of luck!

@Smithg1227‌ thanks for your honesty, i have full tuition paid to my state’s schools. I’m looking into University of Illinois-Urbana thanks :)
