NYUAD full-ride scholarship vs Freeman Scholarship Wesleyan University

Hey guys,

I am both a Hong Kong’s Finalist for Freeman Asian Scholarship 2016 and an ED2-admitted student at NYUAD. However, as I am admitted under binding and full-ride scholarship from NYUAD, I have to attend there. Through the CW, I knew that NYUAD is a great school. However, I still have a slight regretful feeling for being too hasty in my ED2 decision as Wesleyan was my biggest dream school. I’m not writing this to boast about my achievement, but only to be consolidated on my NYUAD decision and escape from this emotional dilemma.

You mean, “consoled” (my autocorrect feature just made the same mistake!) I’m a big Wesleyan fan, but really NYU is one of the most popular private universities in the country (Wesleyan is one of the most popular small colleges.) It’s a big deal getting into either one

Why dont you give NYUAD a call and see what they say? Just be honest with them. If they say you have to stay committed, then you do. But they might not want you if they are not your best love. Last CW is this weekend so they are still evaluating candidates.
