<p>This is just a question asking for a pretty short response of whether as of right now I have ANY chance at all of being accepted to Oberlin.</p>

<p>GPA 3.3
SAT 1340(old 1600)1870(new) Retaking this month aiming for 1400/2000+
APs-Physics B-4,US-4,Psych-4
Taking this year
Physics C,Gov,Comp Sci,Lang,CalcAB</p>

<p>Taking hardest courses I was allowed to move into once I transferred schools, because my old didn't have the honors classes that are required to take the hardest math classes in my current school.</p>

<p>EC's (Almost non-existant)
Track Captain Junior year
All-State Junior year 6th Place Div I NYS
Math Team Senior Year
Some others but none off the top of my head</p>

<p>you might have a chance, though perhaps not the strongest. i would say if you can keep your GPA up and if you write a really good essay it would be more favorable.</p>

So far this year my average for the quarter is near 4.0. What did you write your oberlin essays on? Why did you pick Oberlin?</p>

<p>i chose oberlin because it has a nice campus, the people are friendly, it has good music opportunities, the academics are highly ranked, and there is an activist presence</p>
