Moosie - last year S was at a competition most of the day on decision day so I was in your shoes. We had emails on our phones that we were not allowed to look at until after the competition! Once we got in the car after the competition we got our emails out for him to read. He did not want to know any of the early ones, since good or bad it might affect his concentration. It was not easy for us!

Tomorrow we got admission decisions for day schools. I guess it came quickly since I haven’t been focused on these decisions. My daughter only applied to three day schools. Her heart is with BS. It’s only now that it’s hitting me that these are admission decisions and I will know in less than 24 hr. I have her permission to open emails while she’s at school :D/

Good luck, @NYCMomof3!

We are in NYC too, and the date really snuck up on us as well @NYCMomof3! DS is hoping for boarding, so tomorrow’s news may only complicate things. Good luck to you and your daughter!

@GMC2918 that is our exact situation. My dd prefers boarding but did fall in love with one of the day schools here. We’ve discussed “what if” and she said the only way she’d go to a day school is if boarding falls through. This month will drag ~X( good luck to your ds!!!

Thanks @Stargirl3
